Latham Named EMEA Law Firm of the Year in Private Equity International's 2025 Awards

Latham & Watkins has been named Law Firm of the Year in EMEA: Transactions in Private Equity International (PEI)'s 2025 Awards. The annual awards program celebrates the best and most successful law firms in private equity.

The firm was recognized for its work on several major deals, including Hellman & Friedman’s €13.7 billion IPO of security services firm Verisure; L Catterton’s agreement to invest in UK restaurant group Dishoom; and Carlyle’s sale of metallics manufacturer Forgital Group to Stonepeak. 

These transactions reflect the scale and depth of Latham's European Private Equity and M&A Practice, which includes close to 250 attorneys based in its European offices. In 2025, the firm ranked #1 in Europe for private equity by both deal value and deal count, according to Bloomberg.
