Latham & Watkins Advises Patria Investments in Acquisition of WP Global Partners

Multidisciplinary, cross-border team represents the global alternative asset manager in its purchase of the US-based private equity solutions manager.

Patria Investments Limited (Patria) (NASDAQ: PAX), a global alternative asset manager and the leading asset manager in Latin America, announced an agreement to acquire WP Global Partners, a US-based private equity solutions manager focused on the lower middle market. The transaction, Patria’s first acquisition in the US, strengthens Patria’s local presence and investment capacity in North America and supports increasing global investor demand for middle-market private equity exposure.
