Lime Rock Partners (Lime Rock) has announced the closing of an equity commitment to Athena Energy Partners, LLC (Athena). Athena is a Houston-based upstream oil and gas company focused on acquisition and development opportunities on the Gulf Coast, primarily in the Eagle Ford Shale.
Latham & Watkins LLP represented Lime Rock in the transaction with a Houston-based corporate team led by partner James Garrett, with associates Kevin Donovan, Patrick Donlon, and Evan Long-Quian.
