January 7, 2026
London E&I team advises on the financing to support the development of a pipeline of renewable energy generation assets in the UK and Europe.

Latham & Watkins has advised NatWest on the financing of a construction warehouse facility for egg Power, Liberty Global's clean energy infrastructure investment business. This financing will enable the development and operation of a pipeline of solar and wind assets across the UK and Europe and supports egg Power’s strategic ambition of achieving 1.3GW of clean energy capacity by 2028.

NatWest acted as sole underwriter, structuring bank, mandated lead arranger, hedging bank, facility agent, and security agent.

The Latham team was led by London partners Conrad Andersen and Alexander Buckeridge-Hocking, with associates Laura Elliott and Isobel Moffatt.
