Latham Advises I Squared Capital on Acquisition of FAS Renewables and Launch of Radiant Energy Solutions

Latham & Watkins has advised I Squared Capital, a leading global infrastructure investment manager, on its acquisition of FAS Renewables and its 100% owned subsidiary Zahra Energy, a Saudi Arabia-based distributed solar company. As a result of the acquisition, I Squared Capital launched Radiant Energy Solutions, an investment from I Squared Capital’s Middle East infrastructure strategy, which is focused on targeting transformational, mid-market investments in the region.

The transaction marks I Squared Capital’s entry into the Middle East distributed renewables market, providing decarbonization solutions to commercial and industrial customers.

The Latham team was led by Singapore corporate partner Sidharth Bhasin and Dubai corporate partner Omar Maayeh, with associates Tarek Soliman, Ahmed Al Frehat, and Sammy Lockhart, and Riyadh associate Naif Albattal.
