Latham Advises Origis Energy on Closed US$290 Million Financing for Swift Air Solar II and III Projects With Natixis CIB and Santander

Origis Energy, one of America’s leading renewable energy platforms, has announced financial close for the Swift Air Solar II and Swift Air Solar III projects in Ector County, Texas. The two projects have a combined nameplate capacity of 313 MWdc. The US$290 million senior secured debt facilities include construction debt, term debt, and a tax credit bridge loan from Natixis Corporate & Investment Banking (Natixis CIB) and Santander Corporate & Investment Banking (Santander).

Latham & Watkins LLP advised Origis Energy in the transactions with a Project Development & Finance team led by New York partner Kelly Cataldo. The Project Development & Finance team included associates Tianyu Wang, Andrea Garcia, and Alexan Stulc. Advice was also provided on tax matters by Houston partner Jim Cole, with associate Jared Kawalsky; and on hedging matters by partner Yvette Valdez, with associates Naffie Lamin and Mia Stefanou.
