Latham & Watkins Advises on Tipalti’s US$200 Million Growth Financing

Funding will enable the payment automation unicorn to further invest in AI and product innovation.
Tipalti, the AI-powered platform for finance automation, has announced it has secured US$200 million in growth financing from long-time partner Hercules Capital, Inc. (NYSE: HTGC).
Latham & Watkins LLP advises Hercules in the financing with a US finance team led by partners Haim Zaltzman and Dan Van Fleet, with associates Hai Pham and Axel Magnusson with assistance from Dominick Gambino; and a UK finance team led by partner Hendrik Smit, with associates Alex Peters and Vanessa Ho. Advice was also provided on tax matters by partner Eric Cho.
