Latham Advises Permira on Acquisition of Minority Stake in RightShip

Latham & Watkins has advised Permira, the global investment firm, on its acquisition of a minority stake in RightShip, a leading maritime digital platform for safety, sustainability, and supply chain due diligence. The strategic investment will accelerate RightShip’s technology-led growth and mission of zero harm. The transaction is subject to customary regulatory approvals to be obtained in coming months.

The Latham team was led by Singapore corporate partner Amy Beckingham, with associates Elisabeth Su-Li Ong and Shi Cheng Chong. Advice was also provided on DTT matters by Tokyo associate Benjamin Han, Hong Kong associate Aster Lin, and Seoul associate Alex Park; and on tax matters by London partner Simon Skinner, with associate Joshua Atkinson.
