Latham Advises EnCap Energy Transition (EnCap) and PowerTransitions in the Sale of PowerTransitions to Partners Group
Partners Group, one of the largest firms in the global private markets industry, has agreed to acquire PowerTransitions (or the Company), a utility-scale power developer in the US, from EnCap. Partners Group plans to invest over US$450 million of capital to accelerate the Company’s future growth. EnCap Energy Transition has been a dynamic provider of capital supporting the decarbonization of the energy industry since 2019.
