Finance and Litigation Partners Named Among Top 100 Lawyers in Los Angeles
Two Latham partners have been named by the Los Angeles Business Journal among its 2025 Top 100 Lawyers, honored for their demonstrated exceptional legal skills and achievements across the full spectrum of responsibility, exemplary leadership, and contributions to the Los Angeles community at large. Finance partner Jeff Bjork and litigation partner Amy Quartarolo have long records of outstanding client service in their practices that were highlighted in their profiles. Jeff and Amy oversee some of Latham’s most closely followed restructuring matters and are widely recognized leaders in navigating highly complex restructuring transactions.
Jeff Bjork, Managing Partner of Latham’s Los Angeles offices and former Global Vice Chair of the firm’s Restructuring and Special Situations Practice, was cited for coordinating more than 250 lawyers and the professionals who support them while maintaining an industry-leading restructuring and bankruptcy practice. He represents debtors, creditors, sponsors, boards of directors, and investors in all aspects of restructuring distressed companies. Jeff regularly advises companies on successful strategies to address mass tort and legacy liabilities, including asbestos, environmental, and product related liabilities, and has represented clients in numerous mass tort bankruptcies.
Amy Quartarolo, Co-Chair of the Los Angeles and Century City Litigation & Trial Department and a member of the Bankruptcy Litigation & Creditors' Rights Practice, was cited for establishing important legal precedent while also setting the strategic vision of Latham’s LA-based disputes team. Amy represents both debtors and creditors in a wide range of bankruptcy-related and complex commercial litigation. She regularly practices in both state and federal courts and has argued before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
