Latham & Watkins Advises Primergy in US$588 Million Debt Financing for Texas Solar Project

Firm represented the developer, owner, and operator of utility-scale solar and storage projects in the financing and power purchase agreement.

Primergy Solar LLC (Primergy), a leading developer, owner, and operator of utility-scale solar and storage projects, announced that it closed commitments for US$588 million in debt financing for the 408 MWac Ash Creek Solar project in Hill County, Texas. The company also signed a long-term power purchase agreement with Microsoft for the full capacity of the plant.

Latham & Watkins LLP represented Primergy in the transaction with a project development and finance team led by San Diego partner Omar Nazif, New York partner Kelly Cataldo, and San Diego counsel Seth Richardson, with associates Herminio Rivera, Jessica Lietz, and Nick Eberhart.
