Firm tops The Texas Lawbook’s rankings for both deal count and deal value.

Latham & Watkins was ranked as the #1 firm for the total number of Texas-related M&A deals as well as the total value of those deals in 2023, according to The Texas Lawbook's M&A Corporate Deal Tracker rankings. Latham’s Texas-based lawyers advised on a record-setting 179 M&A deals over the course of the year, with a total value of more than US$231 billion. Latham acted on 15% more deals with 32% higher aggregate value than the #2 firm for Texas-related M&A.
