EigenLabs, the developer behind EigenLayer, a restaking platform scaling Ethereum's security to the entire crypto ecosystem, announced it has raised US$100 million in a Series B funding round led by Andreessen Horowitz (a16z), a leading venture capital firm that backs bold entrepreneurs building the future through technology.
Latham & Watkins LLP advised EigenLabs in the transaction with an emerging companies & growth team led by Bay Area partner Benjamin Potter, New York partner Stephen Wink, and Bay Area partner Ashley Wagner, with associates Daphne Lambadariou and Eduard Grigoryan. This follows Latham’s representation of EigenLabs in its Series A in March 2023.
