Latham & Watkins has been named Private Equity Team of the Year at the Legal Business Awards 2023. The 26th annual awards celebrated the very best in the legal profession at one of the most prestigious events in the legal calendar in London.
Latham was recognized for its ability to land “the most significant mandates in an incredibly competitive market for private equity-backed deals… to move with the market and stand out from competitors in the most eye-catching transactions.” This included advising on two significant UK take private deals — Energy Capital Partners on its £2.1 billion completed acquisition of Biffa plc and Astorg and Epiris on the £1.6 billion acquisition of Euromoney.
