Latham & Watkins Advises NVIDIA on Investment in Hugging Face

Firm represented the global technology company on its investment in the Open-source AI model repository.
Hugging Face, an open-source AI model repository on a mission to democratize machine learning, announced that it has raised US$235 million in a Series D fundraising round, bringing the company’s valuation to US$4.5 billion. The round included investments from NVIDIA, Google, Amazon, AMD, Intel, IBM, and Salesforce.
Latham & Watkins LLP advised NVIDIA in the transaction with a corporate deal team led by Bay Area partner Saad Khanani, with associate Chris Pham.
