Latham Advises on Streem’s €750 Million Private Placement

Multidisciplinary team represents investors on private funding round of leading global freight company.
Latham & Watkins has advised the investors on the €750 million private placement for Streem, one of the leading players in the freight, intermodal railcars, and tank containers leasing industries worldwide. €700 million of the debt was issued as Green Notes, underlying the recognized role of Streem in the world’s logistics chains decarbonization.
The Latham team was led by London finance partner Conrad Andersen and associates Amanda Fortuna and Kimberley Barker, with Paris counsel Etienne Gentil and associate Aurelien Lorenzi. Advice on tax matters was provided by Paris partner Xavier Renard, with associate Alexis Caminel and London associate Aoife McCabe.
