Latham Recognized As Debt Capital Markets Team of the Year in Italy

The Italian legal magazine TopLegal has recognized Latham’s Milan-based capital markets lawyers as the country’s Debt Capital Markets Team of the Year at the publication’s 2022 TopLegal Awards. The program, now in its 15th year, recognizes individuals and teams that advance innovative legal solutions on matters with a high social and ethical impact. A technical commission of Italy’s leading legal experts and specialists determined the winners.

TopLegal selected Latham’s Milan office for its significant contributions to the debt capital markets landscape over the past year, including its work advising Inter Media and Communication S.p.A. on a € 415,000,000 notes offering, JP Morgan and the other underwriters in relation to a €1,400,000,000 notes offering to finance the acquisition of Cerved S.p.A. by ION, the underwriters on various sustainability-linked and yankee bond offerings by Enel, and the underwriters on the inaugural multi-tranche and multi-currency bond issuance of Polynt-Reichhold Group.
