Orthofix (NASDAQ: OFIX), a global medical device company with a spine and orthopedics focus, and SeaSpine (NASDAQ: SPNE), a global medical technology company focused on surgical solutions for the treatment of spinal disorders, have announced they have entered into a definitive agreement to combine in an all-stock merger of equals.
Latham & Watkins LLP represents Perella Weinberg Partners LP, the financial advisors to Orthofix, in the transaction with a corporate deal team led by Orange County/New York partner Charles Ruck, New York partner Robert Katz, with Orange County associates Brian Umanoff and Taylor Ashton.
