Latham & Watkins Advises Merlin in its US$105 Million Series B Financing

An emerging companies team advises the autonomous flight technology company in the financing round.
Merlin Labs, the leading developer of autonomous flight technology for fixed-wing aircraft, has announced that it raised a US$105 million Series B round from Snowpoint and Baillie Gifford, with major participation by existing investor GV. The round follows Merlin's 2021 US$25 million Series A round led by GV and First Round Capital, bringing its total funding to US$130 million to date.
Latham & Watkins LLP represents Merlin Labs in the financing with a deal team led by Boston partner Stephen Ranere, with Boston associate Naomi Smith and New York associate Mikhail Bushinski.
