Latham & Watkins has advised Rimac Group, a leader in electrified vehicle technology, on its €500 million Series D financing. The transaction values the company at over €2 billion.
The fundraising was led by SoftBank Vision Fund 2 and the Private Equity business within Goldman Sachs Asset Management, with participation from existing Rimac shareholders, including Porsche and InvestIndustrial. Mate Rimac remains the largest shareholder of the Company.
The Latham team was led by London corporate partners Huw Thomas and Kem Ihenacho, with associates Amrita Ahuja and Venice Ma.
