Latham & Watkins Advises Yapily on Acquisition of finAPI

Transaction set to create the largest open banking payments platform in Europe.

Latham & Watkins LLP has advised open banking infrastructure provider Yapily on the acquisition of finAPI, the leading provider of open banking solutions in Germany, from SCHUFA, among others. Following the acquisition, Yapily will become the largest open banking payments platform in Europe. The acquisition is subject to regulatory approvals and is expected to close in the second half of 2022.
