Latham & Watkins Advises TriSummit in Acquisition of Utilities in Alaska

A New York-based team advises on the all cash transaction valued at approximately US$800 million.
TriSummit Utilities Inc. has announced the entering into of a definitive agreement with a subsidiary of AltaGas Ltd. (TSX:ALA) for a subsidiary of TriSummit to acquire 100% of ENSTAR Natural Gas Company and the Alaska Pipeline Company, the Norstar Pipeline Company, Inc., and a 65% indirect interest in Cook Inlet Natural Gas Storage Alaska, LLC, in an all cash transaction valued at approximately C$1 billion (US$800 million), subject to customary closing adjustments.
