Firm honored with two prestigious awards at Mergermarket’s 2022 European M&A Awards.

Mergermarket has named Latham & Watkins European M&A Legal Adviser of the Year and European Private Equity Legal Adviser of the Year at its European M&A Awards 2022. Latham ranked among the highest firms by deal count and value for European M&A in Mergermarket’s league tables for 2021, advising on 322 deals worth more than US$219 billion. The firm also ranked No.1 in private equity in both deal value for European exits and deal count for European buyouts.

The awards recognise financial and legal advisers’ excellence in M&A deals. Winners are determined based on both Mergermarket league tables and on input from an independent judging panel.
