Latham Adds Another Talented Intellectual Property Litigator in New York

Rachel Blitzer brings significant trial experience to Latham’s world-class IP team.

Latham & Watkins LLP1 is pleased to announce that Rachel Blitzer has joined the firm’s New York office as counsel in the Intellectual Property Litigation Practice and as a member of the Litigation & Trial Department. Blitzer’s practice focuses on complex intellectual property disputes including trade secrets, patent infringement, breach of contract, and antitrust matters.

Blitzer works across a broad range of technologies, including software applications, financial products, industrial machinery, medical devices, pharmaceuticals, and chemical products. She also has particular experience in Hatch-Waxman litigations and has represented leading pharmaceutical companies at both the trial and appellate levels, as well as in post-settlement antitrust actions.

Blitzer is the latest in a string of additions to the New York office’s IP Litigation team, including first chair trial lawyer Tony Sammi and leading life sciences trial lawyers Arlene Chow and Ernest Yakob.

Blitzer received her JD from the University of Chicago Law School and her BA from Yale University. She joins Latham from Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom in New York.
