Emerging companies team counsels co-lead investor on carbon offset ratings provider’s funding round.
Latham & Watkins advised Index Ventures on co-leading a US$32.6 million Series A funding round for Sylvera, a carbon offset ratings provider, to accelerate Sylvera’s mission to become a source of truth for carbon markets.
Alongside Index Ventures, which also led the seed round for Sylvera, the Series A was co-led by New York-based global private equity and venture capital firm Insight Partners, with participation from Salesforce Ventures, LocalGlobe, and angel investors.
The Latham team was led by London corporate
partner Shing Lo, with associates Samantha Si and Irene Brandão.
