Latham & Watkins Advises Excellere Partners on US$875 Million Fund Formation

Excellere Partners, a leading Denver-based private equity firm focused on partnering with entrepreneurs and management teams, has announced that it completed fundraising for its fourth fund at US$875 million. The fund was oversubscribed, exceeding its target of US$750 million and closed at the hard cap.

Latham & Watkins LLP advised Excellere Partners on the fund formation with a corporate team led by New York partner Kathleen Walsh, with associates Matthew Wynne, Michelle Aizin, and Connor Ross. Advice was also provided on tax matters by New York partner Gregory Hannibal, with associate Colleen O’Donnell, and on Advisers Act matters by Chicago partner Laura Ferrell.
