Latham & Watkins Advises Sirona Medical on US$40 Million Series B Funding To Accelerate Adoption of Its Cloud-Native Radiology Operating System

Sirona Medical, a software company founded on a deep understanding of both the practice and business of radiology, announced US$40 million in Series B financing, bringing the total capital raised to more than US$60 million. The funding round was led by GreatPoint Ventures and joined by Rose Park Advisors and Avidity Partners, with additional participation from previous investors including 8VC and Global Founders Capital.
Latham & Watkins represents Sirona Medical with a corporate team led by Bay Area partner Ben Potter and associate Michael Podolny with associate Derek Berry. Advice was also provided on BCG matters by Bay Area partner Jay Metz.
