Latham & Watkins Advises Phononic in US$50 Million Growth Investment
Phononic, a global leader in sustainable solid-state cooling and heating technology, has announced that it has secured a significant growth investment of US$50 million. This investment allows Phononic to dramatically expand sales and marketing, domestic and international high-volume manufacturing capabilities, and expand its cooling and refrigeration product portfolio and platform.
Latham & Watkins LLP represents Phononic in the transaction with a corporate deal team led by Los Angeles associate David Pendergast and Los Angeles partner Chris Shoff, with Los Angeles associate Ben Hecht and Century City associate Arman Carretta. Advice was also provided on benefits and compensation matters by Bay Area partner Jay Metz; and on tax matters by Bay Area partner Kirt Switzer.
