Two Litigators Named to Prestigious 40 Under 40 List In California

The Daily Journal, California’s legal newspaper of record, has selected Securities Litigation & Professional Liability partner Gavin Masuda and Complex Commercial Litigation partner Kirsten Jackson to its annual Top 40 Under 40 honor roll. The prestigious list celebrates California-based lawyers who are making significant impact in their field.

Mr. Masuda is an esteemed securities litigator who navigates clients through their most complex legal matters, advising accounting firms, financial institutions, and more on a wide range of securities litigation and complex commercial litigation matters. As noted in his profile, Mr. Masuda earned the Daily Journal accolade for making history in the past year not once, but twice, including securing an important ruling for San Jose-based Restoration Robotics that is reshaping post-IPO securities litigation.

Ms. Jackson represents policyholders in a number of complex insurance recovery matters where she regularly secures multimillion-dollar settlements and awards for her clients. Her wide and varied insurance recovery practice involves business interruption, commercial general liability, cyber liability, directors and officers liability, professional liability, property insurance, and reinsurance.
