Latham & Watkins Advised the Underwriters in the Upsized Initial Public Offering by Switchback II Corporation

A multidisciplinary, Houston-based team represented the underwriters in the transaction.

Switchback II Corporation has announced its upsized initial public offering of 27.5 million units at a price of US$10 per unit. The units began trading on the New York Stock Exchange on January 8, 2021 and are trading under the ticker symbol "SWBK.U."

Latham & Watkins LLP represented the underwriters in the transaction with a Houston-based team led by partners Thomas Brandt and Ryan Maierson, with associates Paul Robe, Caroline Ellerbe, and Kirby Swartz. Advice was also provided on tax matters by partner Jim Cole, with associate Emily Fawcett.
