Latham Named UK M&A Legal Adviser of the Year by Mergermarket

Mergermarket has named Latham & Watkins UK M&A Legal Adviser of the Year at its European M&A Awards 2020. The firm ranked number one by deal value for UK M&A in Mergermarket’s league tables for the first three quarters of 2020, advising on 45 deals worth more than US$99 billion.

The awards recognize financial and legal advisers’ excellence in M&A deals and are based on both Mergermarket league tables and on input from an independent judging panel.

Mergermarket noted this year's M&A award winners had “demonstrated their ability to adapt to the headwinds and deliver value for clients in the face of unprecedented complexity and volatility.”
