Latham Advises Tech Unicorn Cradlepoint in Acquisition by Leading Global Semiconductor Network Provider Ericsson

Members of the firm’s M&A, Emerging Companies Practices and Technology Industry Group advise the leading remote, mobile network semiconductor technology unicorn in a cross-border deal.

Ericsson (NASDAQ: ERIC) has agreed to acquire Cradlepoint, the US-based market leader in Wireless Edge WAN 4G and 5G Enterprise solutions. The investment is key to Ericsson’s ongoing strategy of capturing market share in the rapidly expanding 5G Enterprise space. Cradlepoint complements Ericsson’s existing 5G Enterprise portfolio which includes Dedicated Networks and a global IoT platform.

Latham & Watkins LLP represents Cradlepoint, a leading remote, mobile network semiconductor technology unicorn and a portfolio company of Technology Crossover Ventures and Sorenson Capital, in the cross-border acquisition by Ericsson, one of Sweden’s largest companies and a leading global network semiconducting company.
