Latham & Watkins Assists Ribbon Communications in Securing CFIUS Clearance

CFIUS concluded that there were no unresolved national security issues with respect to Ribbon Communications’ merger with ECI Telecom.
Ribbon Communications Inc. (Nasdaq: RBBN), a global software leader in secure and intelligent cloud communications, received clearance from the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS) in connection with its merger with ECI Telecom Group Ltd. (ECI). CFIUS concluded that there were no unresolved national security issues with respect to the transaction.
Latham & Watkins LLP represented Ribbon Communications in the transaction and advised the company on the CFIUS clearance process.
