White Collar Defense & Investigations Partner Named to 40 Under 40 List

April 29, 2020
Erin Brown Jones honored by Global Investigations Review as one of the next generation of accomplished young investigations specialists.

White Collar Defense & Investigations and Washington, D.C. partner Erin Brown Jones has been named to Global Investigations Review’s triennial 40 under 40 list recognizing “the next generation of accomplished young investigations specialists… [who] practice across 13 jurisdictions and work for 40 different employers, including law firms, consultancies and major companies.”

In her published profile, Brown Jones recounts one of her most memorable matters, “Like many white-collar practitioners, I’ve had the opportunity to work on a number of high-profile matters during my career,” said Brown Jones. “However, the Special Counsel’s Office matter was its own beast at the center of a political, legal, and media firestorm. As a result, not only were we analyzing the facts underlying our own investigation, but we also were conducting real-time monitoring and analysis of what felt like non-stop news and litigation that could be relevant to our matter.”

Client Vic Miller, Chief Compliance Officer at Honeywell International said, “Erin is an extremely talented lawyer who consistently impresses me with her substantive expertise, ability to communicate effectively with senior business stakeholders and genuine enthusiasm for the work.” Partner Alice Fisher also praised Brown Jones in the profile, recalling that “Erin earned the trust of several clients early in her career, and these clients continue to specifically seek out her services for complex and high-risk investigation matters.”

As a member of the White Collar Defense & Investigations Practice, Brown Jones advises clients on enforcement, compliance, and transactional matters involving anti-corruption, securities and financial laws and regulations, Congressional investigations, and a number of other regulatory regimes.
