New York Partner Recognized for Excellence

Nicole Fanjul, a Finance partner in Latham’s New York office, has been named to Profiles in Diversity Journal’s 2019 “Women Worth Watching” list. Founded in 2001, the list recognizes women in leadership positions across industries who foster a diverse and inclusive culture throughout their organization, who are passionate about mentoring, and who serve as extraordinary role models. 

Fanjul’s practice focuses primarily on the representation of investment banks, commercial banks, and borrowers in a broad range of leveraged finance transactions, including acquisition financings, debt restructurings, and cross-border transactions. In addition, Fanjul has actively worked to recruit and cultivate diverse talent at the firm through her leadership on the Training & Career Enhancement (TACE), Associates, Women Enriching Business (WEB), and Recruiting Committees. As an associate, she co-led the firm’s Black Lawyers Group.
