Corporate Partner Named an Elite Dealmaker of New York

New York partner Justin Hamill, a member of Latham’s Mergers & Acquisitions and Entertainment, Sports & Media Practices, has been named to Variety’s 2019 Elite Dealmakers of New York list. The annual list features lawyers and industry executives who “shaped showbiz with big deals in the past year,” according to the major entertainment industry publication.

A Variety profile article about Hamill highlights a sampling of his recent notable deals. They include representing Endeavor on multiple transactions, as well as advising Virgin Galactic and Virgin Group on its deal to create the first and only publically traded commercial human spaceflight company. Additionally, Hamill represented the parent company of IMG College, WME-IMG, in a transaction creating Learfield IMG College.

Hamill represents clients in a range of complex corporate matters, with a focus on high-value M&A and private equity deals. He joined Latham’s New York office earlier this year, providing an on-the-ground presence in New York that further solidifies the national and global reach of the firm’s Entertainment, Sports & Media Practice.
