Latham & Watkins Represents Financial Advisors to Special Committee of Viacom’s Board of Directors in Connection With CBS Combination

The merger will establish a leading entertainment company with a combined annual revenue of more than US$28 billion.

CBS Corp. (NYSE: CBS.A, CBS) and Viacom (NASDAQ: VIA, VIAB), two of the world’s leading entertainment companies, have announced that they have entered into a definitive agreement to combine in an all-stock merger, creating a combined company with more than US$28 billion in revenue.

Latham & Watkins LLP represents LionTree Advisors and Morgan Stanley, financial advisors to the Special Committee of Viacom’s Board of Directors, in the transaction with a corporate deal team led by New York partners Adel Aslani-Far and David Kurzweil, with associate Lydia Lee.
