Leading antitrust publication highlights strategic growth of Latham’s capabilities in the region.

For the first time, top industry publication Global Competition Review (GCR) ranked the Latham & Watkins Antitrust & Competition Practice in its semi-annual report on the leading New York antitrust practices, recognizing the firm’s strategic build-out of its New York capabilities.

“New York’s antitrust bar has held strong as one of the largest in the world, while boasting some of the best deal lawyers and antitrust litigators,” GCR’s editors noted. Latham’s inclusion in GCR’s latest New York rankings — the first since the practice began its local expansion — is therefore all the more notable.

GCR specifically highlighted the work of partners Lawrence Buterman, Michael Lacovara, Joseph Serino, and Elizabeth Prewitt, the practice’s latest lateral hire who is based in Washington, D.C. and practices in both the nation’s capital and New York.
