Latham Recognized for Family-Friendly Policies

The D.C. Breastfeeding Coalition (DCBFC) and Maryland Breastfeeding Coalition (MBC) recognized Latham & Watkins as a gold (highest) level supporter of breastfeeding families during its ninth annual Breastfeeding-Friendly Workplace Awards. Latham was lauded specifically for its innovative Breast Milk Shipping Program, and was one of only two firms recognized at the event.   

Both DCBFC and MBC are nonprofit organizations that unite breastfeeding advocates, healthcare providers, and families for networking, exchanging resources, sharing experiences, and encouraging breastfeeding.  

Launched in 2016 by the Diversity Leadership Committee and Parent Lawyers Group, in conjunction with Global Human Resources, the Breast Milk Shipping Program is designed to assist nursing mothers who travel on firm-related business.
