Andrea Novarese Named Italy's Banking & Finance Lawyer of the Year

For the second time, the Italian legal magazine TopLegal has recognized Milan finance partner Andrea Novarese as the country’s Banking & Finance Lawyer of the Year at the publication’s 2018 TopLegal Awards. TopLegal highlighted that Novarese is always a step ahead in delivering innovative solutions to clients and highlighted his prominent role in major transactions such as the €900 million financing granted to Italian railway operator Italo- Nuovo Trasporto Viaggiatori, in the context of its acquisition by Global Infrastructure Partners.

Now in its 11th year, the TopLegal Awards recognizes excellence in the Italian legal market. The judging panel consists of CEOs and general counsel from leading Italian and international financial institutions and corporations who assess lawyers against several criteria, including commitment to client service, innovation and knowledge of business and industry dynamics.

Novarese also recently earned recognition as the Banking Lawyer of the Year at the 2018 LegalCommunity Finance Awards.
