New York Partner Named Top Lawyer Under 40

The Hispanic National Bar Association (HNBA) recognized New York partner Veronica Relea as a Top Lawyer Under 40 at its annual gala. This award “celebrates and highlights the accomplishments and contributions of HNBA members who have distinguished themselves in the legal profession, . . . [and] honors lawyers who have demonstrated professional excellence, integrity, leadership, commitment to the Hispanic community, and dedication to improving the legal profession.”

As partner in the Project Finance Practice, Veronica represents project developers and lenders in highly structured and complex finance transactions, with focus on helping commercial and investment banks, sponsors, developers, and private equity firms in connection with the development, construction, operation, and financing of energy, oil and gas, and infrastructure projects. In 2006, as an associate, Veronica co-founded Latham’s Multicultural Promotion and Attainment Coalition (MPAC), a grassroots initiative designed to increase diversity and foster inclusion around the firm. Today, MPAC has chapters in 13 offices around the world.
