Two Partners Named to US-Mexico “Private Practice Powerlist”
Partners Antonio Del Pino and Roderick Branch have been named to The Legal 500’s inaugural “Private Practice Powerlist,” which recognizes the leading US-based private practice lawyers who have developed a strong reputation for their high profile work and engagement in the Mexican market.
Del Pino, Co-chair of the firm’s Latin America Practice, focuses on cross-border acquisitions, financings, private equity transactions and restructurings. Del Pino’s recent notable work in Mexico includes representing Linzor Capital Partners in its $1.1 billion acquisition of the Mexican equipment lending and leasing business of General Electric Company.
Branch, a member of the firm’s Latin America Practice and a native of Mexico City, focuses on capital markets transactions and securities regulation, with an emphasis on securities offerings by non-US issuers. Branch’s recent notable work in Mexico includes representing Infraestructura Energética Nova, S.A.B. de C.V. (IEnova) in its US$1.6 billion follow-on equity offering, the largest equity offering in Latin America in 2016.
Del Pino and Branch were selected for the “Private Practice Powerlist” after a comprehensive research process by The Legal 500, including analysis of their work in the Mexican market and professional peer review. They both are also regularly named as leading practitioners in their respective practices in The Legal 500 Latin America’s annual rankings.
