Latham & Watkins’ Mergers & Acquisitions and Private Equity Practices earned top rankings in global and regional year-end league tables, reflecting the size and scope of the firm’s work throughout 2016. In addition to the geographic rankings, the firm secured a #1 spot in five industry league tables, including aerospace, cleantech, communications, energy (power) and life sciences. Overall, Latham’s global M&A and private equity practices handled more than 460 announced deals totaling more than US$306 billion in deal value in 2016.
