Latham & Watkins was proud to accept the Distinguished Pro Bono Law Firm and Gold Law Firm Awards from the Law Society of Hong Kong’s Pro Bono and Community Work Recognition Programme at its annual awards program. These awards recognize the outstanding provision of pro bono counsel and community service by our lawyers and staff in the Hong Kong office. This marks the second consecutive year that Latham has been awarded both the Distinguished Pro Bono Law Firm Award and Gold Award, and we were the only international firm included among the Gold Award recipients.

“We believe strongly in giving back at Latham, from donating our resources and legal experience to those who cannot afford to pay to volunteering with organizations like St. James’ Settlement, which works with the underprivileged in the Hong Kong community. We are proud to accept this award on behalf of all those who contribute their time and talents around the firm,” said Simon Powell, Hong Kong Office Managing Partner.
