Firm recognized as a leader in the provision of pro bono services around the world.
Latham & Watkins was recognized as a leader in international pro bono services in the Thomson Reuters Foundation’s third annual TrustLaw Index of Pro Bono. As TrustLaw noted in its announcement, “compiled with data collected from over 130 law firms—both large and small—and representing 64,500 lawyers in 75 countries, the Index provides a snapshot of the resources mobilised by the industry in support of social causes, while also monitoring the growth of the sector globally.” The firm’s global commitment to pro bono was well represented in the index: Latham ranked first in the provision of pro bono services in Russia, Spain, and Germany; second in Italy and the United Arab Emirates; third in France and Japan; and fourth in Singapore.
