Firm Honored by Pro Bono Client

DC Appleseed is a longstanding pro bono client that harnesses the District’s best law, accounting and consulting firms to help analyze, implement and where necessary, litigate matters. In recognition of Latham’s continued support of this organization, DC Appleseed honored the firm along with other organizations and individuals who are working to improve the region’s health and to bring more democracy to Washington, D.C. at their annual reception. DC Appleseed solves problems affecting the daily lives of those who live and work in the National Capital area, working with volunteer attorneys, business leaders and community experts. DC Appleseed and Latham have been at the forefront advancing and defending measures to improve the District’s government and autonomy. D.C. now has an independent, elected Attorney General, more voting rights and budget control due to those efforts.
