Profiles in Diversity Journal
has named Executive Committee member and Orange County litigation partner Michele Johnson to its 14th annual “Women Worth Watching” list. This list recognizes “women in leadership” from law firms, corporations, nonprofits, and government agencies in Europe and North America who are “blazing a trail for others to follow.”

Johnson was praised for her ability to balance complex “bet-the-company” matters, including several high-profile merger cases and shareholder actions in recent years, with her leadership commitments and community involvement. At Latham, Johnson has served on the Pro Bono, Associates, and Diversity Committees, as well as managing partner of the Orange County office. She was named to the firm’s Executive Committee in 2015. In addition, Johnson is currently president of the Board of the Association of Business Trial Lawyers–Orange County, a board member of the Public Law Center (PLC) and a co-chair of the Orange County United Way’s Bench & Bar.
