Three Latham & Watkins IP litigators have been selected by the Daily Journal as “Top Intellectual Property Lawyers” in California for 2013 – including Orange County partner Perry Viscounty and Silicon Valley partners Ron Shulman and Rick Frenkel. The annual list is comprised of “attorneys whose work has advanced the law and technological innovation in important and possible long-lasting ways” during the past year, according to the Daily Journal. The coverage profiled a victory by Viscounty for his client in a high-stakes trade secret misappropriation case, a win by Shulman in a “make-or-break” International Trade Commission patent suit, and Frenkel’s success in litigating a suit regarding patentable subject matter in which all of the claims against his client were dismissed.
