Two Silicon Valley partners selected for their frequent and significant M&A work.

The Recorder has named Christopher “Kit” Kaufman and Tad Freese as 2012 Attorneys of the Year for their work on the US$4.05 billion sale of Lucasfilm Ltd. to The Walt Disney Company, while also citing the duo’s long working relationship. The Recorder highlighted the complexity, unique structure and size of the Lucasfilm transaction and also noted that Kaufman and Freese frequently work together on complex mergers and acquisitions, securities offerings and other corporate matters.
