William Lu is a partner in the New York office of Latham & Watkins, where he is a member of the Tax Department. His practice covers a wide variety of tax related issues in both US and non-US contexts. Mr. Lu practices primarily in financial products, derivatives, corporate finance, structured finance and various international tax matters.

Mr. Lu has represented financial institutions such as J.P. Morgan, Goldman Sachs and Bank of America in various financial product transactions, Rabobank in their structured notes offerings, Credit Suisse in establishing offshore debt funds and raising capital for such funds and a public global biotechnology company in various multi-billion securities offerings.
